We had a fun-filled evening bowling for charity at the Jupiter Lanes in Jupiter Saturday night. We didn’t win, but we didn’t care. We had a great time competing and making new friends. Real estate brokerage firm Cobblestone Realty came equipped with two teams of competitive bowlers and the cutest little two year old to cheer on the team! However, the cheering stopped the moment Hamilton R. Head came onto the scene. He was a little more than she could take. So, brave daddy, Joe Quirk, took on that ferocious hammerhead and chased her fears away.
We were now ready to play. To smoke up the lanes with our fast and fierce playing ability. All to benefit the Quantum House, the Marlins-Cardinals Fund and the Florida Marlins Community Foundation. We played and prayed hard. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to become the reigning champs for the 2009 Basebowl Tournament. So, we packed up our balls and admirably laid our bowling shoes to rest knowing that another time, another charity, we will be there to take on the fight. All for the sake of giving back to our community.
